Having a terrific looking website is crucial when it comes to showcasing your business on the internet.  But that in itself is not the only thing you need to worry about.  If your website design is not being found by web users, what is the point in having a website at all?  The key to success on the internet is being found!

Search Engine Optimization or SEO is the process by which a web designer molds the code of your website in order to get it closer to the top of the rankings in major search engines such as Google and Yahoo.  SEO is an important aspect of web design that is often over looked.  It involves the use of several techniques to manipulate the code, as well as research to find out which keywords best suit your site.

I take this into consideration with every site that I build.  I discuss with you the charateristics of your clients, the search terms that you think are applicable to your site and then do the more research to make sure that we are on the right track to getting your site noticed by the search engines.

Many SEO companies "promise" you top ranking on the search engines.  I don't buy into those "promises" though.  There is no possible way to make a promise like that because of the nature or search engine optimization . . . it is constantly changing.

SEO is a game with a lot of players and no clearly set rules.  I don't promise that I will have your site at the number one spot for your particular search words or phrases, but I can promise you that your site will be better off than if no SEO techniques were used at all.
